in real life why you people learn english btw? for school?working? or something else?

I learn English since kindergarten.. From a TV kid show "Sesame street", and also, i heard a lot of English song surrounding me played all the time, i used to write down what i hear, ie: remember this feeling, i wrote: rimember dis filing, after that i search the original lyrics.. Sometimes couple of words doesn't make no sense at all and now i use it for my work most of the times and interact with expatriate colleagues back then..

Thank you @BabyDee , hopefully, all is well for you too....and also for all of suhu here....Reading your thoughts here reminds me of when I first started studying english seriously...starting from just jokingly applying for a scholarship to study abroad (because I come from a poor family), I was forced to be able to learn english to complete my education rather than being deported back to Indonesia and paying all the tuition fees from the scholarship provider....now learning english is easier with the existence of various types of digital applications and AI to improve english skills...
